“With an intrinsic eye for color and a passion for style, Madeleine Cranfill (the founder) began her success as a personal image consultant in the 1980's (similar to our own Judee). Her talent to elegantly transform the wardrobes of affluent clients had her traveling the globe in pursuit of unique designs. Discovering Thai silk while on a summer holiday in Southeast Asia, led to the destiny of founding Marisa Baratelli. Blooming allure and purification of the senses through color and light, her first collection pioneered a line of evening separates with a special order business that continues to give Baratelli its energy signature in the global market today.

Madeleine's vision, inspired by her patrons and the incredible colors of hand woven Thai silk, is reflected through the Baratelli lotus.
