All of us have friends and family who have experienced the sadness caused by cancer. One of the ways we decided to give back to the community was to do what we can to raise money to fight this terrible disease. Over the past several years, we have...

• Raised $28,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Research.

• Raised $11,000 for the Open Door Health Center, a free health clinic for the citizens of Michigan City, IN that offers cancer prevention education, screening and treatment to men and women.

• Raised $11,000 for the LaPorte Hospital Foundation; also participated in the “Affair of the Heart” Red Dress event to help educate women on heart disease.

Athena Award Judee was presented this award at the LaPorte Chamber of Commerce Economic Advancement Foundation annual meeting.
